Stage Struck School of Performing Arts
StagestruckSchool of Performing Arts has been established in Farnham, Surrey for 20 years. We offer classes in Ballet, Street Dance, Modern Theatre Dance, Jazz, Tap and Drama for children aged 3 years and over, up to and including adults.
We are members of The Imperial Society of Teachers of Danceing, and offer ISTD examinations in Ballet, Modern Theatre and Tap Dance. ISTD examinations are recognised as equivelent to GCSE's, and count toward the new High School Diplomas now being offered in Secondary Schools.
We believe that dance and drama offer something for everyone. Improved health and fitness, boosted confidence and self esteem, better co-ordination and balance, improved posture, an insight into art and music, but most of all dance and drama are fun!
Our hugely popular 'Jiggle and Giggle' children's dance classes, are a fantastic introduction to the world of Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance and Tap Dance. Open to children aged 3-6 years and held at both The Kiln and Hale Institute
Our new Street Dance Lessons are becoming very full, very quickly and our Street Dance Crew 'Rumma' had their first public performance at our Xmas display 2011 at The Kiln. Have you heard the rummer....... 'Rumma Street Dance Crew' is gonna be BIG.
Our 100% success rate in I.S.T.D. examinations in Ballet, Modern Theatre Dance and Tap Dance shows our commitment to offering the very highest teaching standards, using the latest methods and techniques for fulling the potential of each student in their chosen dance genre.
